COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
- Elected Committeewoman in Ward 1 District 4 for the Middlesex County Democratic Organization in 2007, and re-elected each term to date.
- Appointed to the Planning Board of the City of New Brunswick over ten years; elected to positions of Vice Chair and Chair by her peers.

- Elected to full, 4-year term to the New Brunswick City Council on January 4, 2017.
- B.A. with concentrations in Philosophy, Political Science, and Religion at Rutgers University; J.D. and Continuing Education toward Legal Masters in Tax at New York Law School.
- Recipient of the Anna | Morgan scholarship in Religion.
- A graduate of Edison High School in 1985.
- Background in corporate finance, having worked for ATT Finance, and Merck Pharmaceuticals.
- Currently writing a book based on the experiences and widespread lasting effects of childhood sexual abuse in adults; providing a basis for a Foundation which will provide pro-bono legal support and emotional support for survivors and their families.
- Her belated husband proudly served as an EMT and Firefighter in the City of New Brunswick for over 23 years until his accidental death in 2008.
- Presided over the most lengthy and highly publicized Mine Street application where she was the deciding vote denying the project and forging a path for compromise between the neighborhood residents and the contractor.
- Reiterated, and echoes today, her appreciation for the need for growth within New Brunswick but explicitly, not at the expense and integrity of the neighborhoods we call our home.
